2009: Day of Chishiki & Tanoshii (Knowledge & Fun)
Talks and presentations, Shiatsu, acupuncture, Hojojutsu, demonstrations, Japanese market place, movies included a previously unseen slideshow of a performance in Kobe, Japan by Akechi Denki, the all-time master of kinbaku. During the day, Nawashi Murakawa (see Akechi Denki Tribute) gave a talk on the historical, cultural and religious contexts of Japanese rope bondage.
